Four dining rooms, one menu, one principle. Achim Hack cooks by the 80:80 credo: 80% of ingredients come from within a maximum of 80 kilometres. Choose from seasonal dishes, daily changing menus, and classics such as Wiener schnitzel or chateaubriand for two. Open daily, also for external guests.

What does breakfast at Gut Steinbach offer? We prepare a delicious buffet for our guests with an additional à la carte selection: pretzels from Pretzner bakery, cheese and cold cuts from the Chiemgau, and egg dishes freshly made to order. Chalet guests may choose to have breakfast in the restaurant or via room service.
Sun terrace
What makes our sun terrace special? The combination of excellent cuisine and a magnificent view of the Chiemgau Alps. The same menu as in the restaurant, plus cocktails and coffee & cake in the afternoon. Also available without an overnight stay.
Gourmet experiences
Gut Steinbach is the perfect starting point for culinary discovery tours. The Chiemgau offers a rich selection of dairies, distilleries and alpine huts. The wine lounge serves selected bottles and wines by the glass. In addition, culinary events with guest chefs and themed evenings are held regularly.
