Sledding and tobogganing in Reit im Winkl
The toboggan runs at the cross-country skiing stadium, Winklmoos-Alm, Benzeck, Alpengasthof Hindenburghütte can be easily reached and used by our guests (some for a fee). The Benzeck and Hindenburghütte cable cars are the closest. Further information about tobogganing can be found here.
You are welcome to borrow a sledge for tobogganing from us free of charge, but we only have a small number of sledges.
Hindenburg Hut
For everyone who is still a bit of a child - the tobogganing experience on the challenging run from the Hindenburghütte to Blindau.
From the Hindenburghütte the natural toboggan run leads to Reit im Winkler Tal. The toboggan run from the Hindenburghütte down to the Blindau district has a long tradition. Tobogganing championships used to take place here, as pictures and certificates in the inn show. Tobogganing is traditionally done with sturdy wooden sledges that you can rent from the Hindenburg Hut (single and double sledges).
The mountain journey takes place with four-wheel buses.

Nattersbergalm
Near Reit im Winkl you hike up from the Seegatterl to the Nattersbergalm.
The descent goes quickly through some beautiful, wide curves on a snow-sure, prepared toboggan run.
Length: 3.2 km
